My financial goals

I have no financial priorities! This has been going through my mind ever since I took the well to do test. So in response, and to be able to get some restful sleep finally, I decided to set some personal financial goals. After all, it is true – it is not very likely to get there if you don’t have any idea where you are going. It is my intention, however, that these financial goals will be like beacons rather than like the finish line of a race.

My financial goals for the next eighteen months are three:

  • To generate £1,644 per month of passive income;
  • To transform some non-income generating possessions into income generating assets;
  • To reduce our liabilities by £100,000.

This needs careful planning and as lot of smart work. Will be back with different scenarios so a way forward could be charted.

One Response to My financial goals

  • Helen says:

    Well done on setting yourself some financial goals.
    Generating passive income streams seem to me to be very important if you are to have more of the life you want to live rather than the ‘work to live’ way that most of us do.
    Good luck!
